John Pedersen
City council candidate
I’m running for a City Council position in the City of St. Helena. As a husband and a father of two children, I care about safe streets, well-maintained parks, reliable infrastructure, a thriving business community serving locals and visitors alike, and preserving the character that makes St. Helena such a special place for people of all ages.
As a business analyst focused on solving problems, managing budgets, and improving operations, I’ve learned the importance of asking thoughtful questions, analyzing complex issues, and making informed decisions. With a background in Political Science and Human Security, I’m an advocate for public safety.
As your City Council member, I will work to increase transparency and accountability and restore trust in our small-town government. I will listen to residents, draw upon the expertise of our volunteer committees and commissions, uphold the General Plan, and work toward a sustainable future.
Together, we can improve City operations and reduce unnecessary spending with process improvement and modernization initiatives, making the best use of every taxpayer dollar and helping ensure St. Helena remains a wonderful place to live for generations to come.
I would be honored to earn your support and your vote.
